SafeIT™ File Shredding 2003

Clean it well - dont leave the files behind you - clean it up - use SAFEiT!Did you know, that when you delete a file (erase) or a image from your computer or laptop, it is just like would just clean a part of a wall or floor. When you delete a file or image, the computer system erases the "header" of the file, which contains the data on where this file is located and how big the file is. The remaining data of the file or the image will remain on the hard drive or the media (storage media) you are using at that time.

User-friendly software for complete removal
of selected stored information.

SafeIT™ File Shredding 2003 allows you to completely remove selected stored information on your hard drive and other memories. When you delete a file, empty your Recycle Bin or even format your hard disk, the information is NOT removed from your computer.

These commands only alter the structure of the drive, leaving most of the data intact and recoverable with software tools easily available. The following examples highlight typical situations that require File Shredding:

  • When the computers in your organisation are returned to the leasing company at the end of the leasing period

  • Selling used computers further

  • Donating used computers to aid organizations or schools

  • In case of internal changes within your organisation, where work stations are being swapped.

  • Sending the computers for maintenance or use elsewhere outside the organisation

  • Removing computers from use.
