Who all has done a lot based on our joint conviction to give our children a better world, where the recourses from Mother Earth are being used and handled with respect.

We have also during our work with the feasibility study got some special help from a traditional waste treatment plant, one of the best and most advanced in Europe:

RENOVA AB
Göteborg - Sweden
Peter Årnes,Marketing Director

Renova and its management where also to a large help by inviting a delegation from United Arab Emirates, which McGordons had arranged as a fact-finding trip.

Swedish quality and Swedish thinking, a foundation to build from and
it will preserve the values.

McGordons will here share an extract of the very broad Feasibility Study we by our self has initiated and carry out from its start in October 2001 up to April 2002. McGordons has built its expectations around a Swedish innovation made by CrossMac AB and Alf Johansson.

The project came to a halt in 2002 and early 2003 after that some key-members of the executive group decided to work behind others back. We are today 2004 happy that we soon will announce further progress, where also Alf Johansson's unique patent will but others where they belong.

Executive Summary

WASTE is, as we all know, a problem, and we also know that it is a threat to our environment and that the way it is handled today are causing huge damages for generation to come.

But such statement is only true – if we continue to think along the “old” way!

By burning anything – you destroy it – as simple as that!
Why burn a useful resource?
But how can waste become a resource?

The modern science and all the scientist, who are working with the problem of trying to solve the growing waste mountains – has not at all, neither looked on how the nature works nor understood on how to crack any material back to its simplest form, so it can be used to recover energy.

Just picture the following metaphor:

Take any of these products, and place them out in the desert. Let say that you take a plastic bottle, you let it be in the desert for many years, and you will se that it will dissolve (crack). 80% of the bottle is pure Oil, and by the heat in the desert it will evaporate into the atmosphere. 15% of the bottle consist of Methane Gas, and will also evaporate and what will be left in the sand, if it has not been spread by the wind, is just a little stack of coal 5%.

This is how the nature works and this is how material Cracks, if you do not destroy it by throwing it into a fire.

When any material and especially waste or even tires are burned, the problem to control the fire and the process, make it as difficult to control as when the fireman arrives to a house fire.

The extra hurdle to dispose waste with fire also has its ground in the fact that waste also consist of water, the amount of water in waste, depends on the atmospheric humidity – and as we all know – fire and water aren’t directly the best “friends”, so we have just created another problem.

W

ith the right team directly involved and a personal commitment from some, who truly care about the future in Fujairah, then the waste does not need to be a problem – it can be turned into a new source of wealth as well as it could bring huge attention – to the Emirate of Fujairah.

This is a contribution to Fujairah , which both are filled with excitements as well as it is, and can be, a very good business opportunity with a multitude of valuable returns.

Do it right and doing it the good way!

We hope, that the Ruler H.H Sheik Hamad Bin Mohamed Al Sharqi share our vision as well as our proposed objectives – where the Federal Government and our President H.H Sheik Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan would truly salute such initiative – which both directly would save the Federal Government no less than 800 million Dirhams in cheaper electricity from the new Thermo-Rec™ Plants in Fujairah it would also save the Federal Government the need for building out the production facilities to produce another 3,000 MW/day, which would be needed after 10 years.

At the same time, the proposed new Waste Energy Recovery Strategy would eventually bring large NEW revenues to the Government of Fujairah.
